Remember when you told me
I shouldn\u2019t just go through the motions?
When you pushed me to open up
and to feel again?
We see how well that worked out
So let me crawl back in my hole
far away from everything
and everyone that can hurt me
Because keeping it all locked down
never cost me friends
never made work awkward
never gave me sleepless nights
or constant stomach issues
In fact, compared to this
keeping my head down and mouth shut
was much more pleasurable
So forgive me if I stop
