I found some memories today
\nStuffed away in a drawer
\nThe pages yellow with time
\nThe words still as strong as ever
\nEmotions rising to the surface
\nGlimpses into my past
\nMy heart
\nMy soul
\nMoments of beauty
\nMoments of pain
\nMoments that have made me
\nCaptured in phrases
\nPoems and prose
\nEach line, each letter
\nTakes me somewhere
\nAnother stop on the road
\nMy personal timeline
\nI put the pages back
\nA surprise for another day
\nBut the reminders still linger\u2026<\/p>\n

So I was cleaning out some drawers and storage containers today and found an old spiral notebook full of poems from sophomore and junior year.
