With cracks in the foundation<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each visitor that steps inside<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leaves as quickly as they come<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chipping at the drywall as they pass<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Two arms just aren\u2019t enough<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To hold these beams in place<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Long enough to repair the rotten braces<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No coat of paint and spackle<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Could ever hope to fill the gaps<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And hide the damage done<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To already shaky structures<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nothing here that\u2019s up to code<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just let it fall and start again<\/p>\n\n\n\n
