I drempt of you last night <\/p>\n\n\n\n
and what might happen if <\/p>\n\n\n\n
entirely through happenstance <\/p>\n\n\n\n
we were to meet up once again<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in some random corner of this <\/p>\n\n\n\n
ever expanding world<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Would we recognize each other, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
the people we\u2019ve turned out to be?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With all those scars and memories <\/p>\n\n\n\n
between us now and who we were <\/p>\n\n\n\n
when we were young and insincere <\/p>\n\n\n\n
who knows where the road might lead? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
But with the miles and the years gone by <\/p>\n\n\n\n
things could, would never be the same <\/p>\n\n\n\n
as they might have been<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But maybe we could find something <\/p>\n\n\n\n
to take the place of fantasies <\/p>\n\n\n\n
better left for other worlds and timelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or more likely that we never cross again<\/p>\n\n\n\n
outside of idle thoughts that flitter through<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is not ours to see the destination, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
only the path that lies ahead <\/p>\n\n\n\n
and our roads seem to only intersect s<\/p>\n\n\n\n
omewhere in that rear-view mirror <\/p>\n\n\n\n
