It was just one night
\nat the end of the world
\nYou showed me your soul
\nsuch beauty and grace
\nflooded in mystery
\na glint of steel
\nsoftness and silence
\nI tried to reach out
\nmissed the signs
\nlook, but not touch
\nand I was found lacking
\n(in what, I\u2019ll never know)
\na fleeting glimpse
\nstripped of nirvana
\ncast out of eden
\nyou pulled away
\ninto the night
\ntaking all color
\nall light, all life
\ninto oblivion with you
\nalone as the sky falls
\nalone as the mountains fall
\nit was just one night
\nat the end of the world
\nyou took my breath away
\nas the stars faded
\nthen walked away
\nleaving me empty
\nawaiting the end\u2026<\/p>\n

I have no idea where this came from, exactly. I had two of the lines come to me separately over the last day or so, then combine in my head and force their way out as this. Sorry for not keeping this place updated, for those of you who actually pay attention. It\u2019s been a one heck of a ride lately.
