In those smiles I saw reflected

All that we could ever be

A mirror held up to my dreams

Everything I’d ever ask for

The wars ahead all made worthwhile

And though i know now I was foolish

To pin those hopes and dreams on her

Still the source of inspiration

Keeps up the fight and leads the way

I hope someday I can find her

That would make my world complete

So that I may stand before them

And see that mirror once again
